AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

To ensure the best results please read and follow the instructions provided. The pigment immediately following the procedure will appear quite dark, and the skin underneath will be red.

1- For 1 hr post appointment, blot your brows with a clean tissue to remove lymph. This is a serum that body produces to start healing itself. If the oozing dries on their brows, it’ll create large scabs, and the brows will peel too soon.

2. Within a few hrs post, wash your brows with the a mild gentle cleanser.

A. Wash hands
B. Get TINY bit of soap and some water OUTSIDE OF SHOWER
C. Wash gently in direction of hair. It’s a LIGHT swipe, just to help remove excess oil, oozing etc.
D. RINSE THOROUGHLY. Cup your hands with water and rinse to make sure all soap is removed.
E. Pat dry with clean paper towel
F. Apply balm (TINY AMOUNT, NOT GOOPY)

This will get rid of any blood serum or excess dye that’s on your brows. It will also keep the area sterile.

It will take anywhere from 5-8 days for the brows to peel to begin to appear healed.
and for the pigment to fade to its regular shade.

Follow these steps to properly take care of your skin:

  • Avoid getting the area wet for up to 10 days, which includes keeping your face dry during a shower.
  • Don’t wear makeup for at least a week. This is because the pigments are still settling in to the shallow cuts in your skin caused by the blading.
  • Don’t pick at scabs, tug, or itch the eyebrow area.
  • Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed and you have a follow-up appointment.
  • Keep your hair away from your brow line.
  • Apply healing balm provided as directed.
  • No direct sunlight for 2 weeks
  • Use a waterproof total sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color fading.

What To Expect

  • You will go through three healing phases: 1-heal, 2-peel and 3-fade.
  • For the first couple of days, brows will appear dark and very defined before the scabbing phase. The thickness will subside gradually as the days go by.

  • You may notice whiteness or blanching around the area, this is quite normal and will subside within 12 hours. If you find any lymphatic fluid or blood weeping you can gently clean the area. (as described above)
  • Redness, swelling, and stinging is normal and should subside by the following day completely.
  • Once the brow area starts to peel, it will appear flaky and be unappealing. The area may feel a bit dry. Do not pick or pull at the treated area as it will result in pigment loss
  • Once all scabs have fully fallen off completely and naturally, Your results will appear way too light and some may have complete pigment loss. Rest assured this is normal. After day 14 you will start to see the color resurfacing and darkening slowly day by day.

  • Typically by the end of week 5 your results will completely have stabilized and the skin is fully healed.
  • A follow up is needed around 6 weeks for the areas that don’t resurface if you had a full service done for the first time or you received the 24 months touch up.

Note: The 6 week follow up does not apply to touch ups under 24 months.
